I’m Nick McClellan, the proud owner of After Hours Productions LLC.
I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
As a creative and musically inclined teenager, I would spend most of my younger days generating fun beats. My parents were supportive of my passion and would often lend me money to buy gear and gift me equipment whenever I asked.
In high school, I decided to set up After Hours Production in 1982 as a creative outlet to entertain people and earn some money. I would get in front of a crowd and spin music to liven up the atmosphere and help people dance. To propel my career and business to the next level, I felt the need to create an energetic environment with music and interactive entertainment.
Delivering a new level of high energy entertainment services for a range of clients resulted in an increase in business. I then hired a team of DJs and expanded my service offerings. From a single individual, we have now grown into a company with multiple DJs, videographers, photographers, and equipment installers.
As a professional business, what sets us apart from others is that we focus on providing the most value for clients that invest in us. Moreover, as a devoted Christian, I run my business with the belief of loving everyone and serving others before myself.
What is fulfilling about this job is knowing that our music, video, and photography services are bringing joy to people. It is also incredibly satisfying to hear clients tell us they were happy or thrilled with our services. While I’ve have had many moments of satisfaction and pride throughout my career, my favorite will always be turning a rainy wedding day disaster into a heartwarming love story movie.

Since I have been in business for almost three decades, my business has become my hobby. I continuously challenge myself to be better at what I do, and so, in my free time, I learn new techniques to bring more to the table.
As a follower of Christ, I support missionaries who carry the gospel to the world.
